Sleep in and head to Calheta after breakfast. The tour departs at 9:30 am or 1:30 pm – arrive 30 minutes early for the safety briefing. You'll board a speedboat, which is great fun for kids and where you'll barely feel the waves. Your ocean safari is a 2-hour guided tour: spotters will help you find dolphins, and if you're lucky, whales will cross your path. Marine biologists will give you insights into the lives and behavior of these animals.
